Millions of young people try to enter the workforce in India every year. Many of them won’t get the job they want because they lack the basic skills needed in the current era. The/Nudge equips youth with the modern “soft” skills –life, language (English), learning– necessary to get good jobs. They research, design, test and deliver a honed curriculum that qualifies youth for entry into formal service sector jobs across urban India. This curriculum is delivered on college campuses to graduating students, and in community centers to young people who have dropped out of formal education. After completion, students get connected to quality employers. It’s a win-win: employers get the soft-skills they need and youth get a shot at a career that will keep them out of poverty.
