A lot of land in Africa is ostensibly protected via community conservancies and private concessions, which create crucial landscape connectivity between national parks. But, too many fail because communities can’t make a decent living on them.
Andrew has over 25 years of experience advancing conservation in Africa. Prior to founding Conserve Global, he was Vice President of Strategy and Programs for Africa at Conservation International. He has also served as CEO of Welgevonden and the Sabi Sand Private Nature Reserves in South Africa before joining African Parks as Operations Director and then as Conservation Director.
