Molly Burhans

GoodLands

Big Idea:

GoodLands provides information and tools (planning + map making + data systems) to improve stewardship of lands owned by the Catholic Church, one of the largest landholders in the world.

Molly’s passion and career sit at the intersection of nature, design thinking and information. Her first stint in entrepreneurship was founding an indoor vertical farming cooperative. She went on to be the Chief Cartographer for the first global data-based maps of Catholic Church land, exhibited in the Vatican, and her scientific illustrations have appeared in peer-reviewed journals. Molly has a masters in ecological design.
