There are still lots of kids in Africa that don’t have access to a school, and those that are in school are too often in overcrowded classrooms with under-qualified teachers. Imagine Worldwide uses tablets or other touch devices to teach children numeracy and literacy. They stand out among a growing number of EdTech organizations for designing a model that can deliver literacy and numeracy in a range of learning environments. They’re working with governments and NGOs to test, refine, and scale up their approach in low-resource settings worldwide.
