Claire McMahon

Claire joined Mulago in 2025 as our Project Manager. She keeps our programs humming — from high-value convenings, to grant management, to sourcing of irrepressible fellows.

She cut her teeth designing a lot of big global events at Founders Pledge and at the Global Philanthropy Forum, where she led content development, speaker sourcing and partnerships. She’s a pro at bringing people together in a way that encourages thoughtful collaboration and amplifies high-impact work.

Claire holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh and dual BAs in International Policy and Anthropology from Pacific University. When she’s not at her desk, you’ll find her in the garden, chasing hills on her bike, or lost in a great book.
