Big Idea:
Emergency transport services across Africa

M-Mama offers an easy way for governments to provide emergency transport services to save mother and newborn lives. In addition to making government ambulances more efficient, they help recruit, enroll, and lightly train community drivers (“village heroes”). The M-Mama platform triages calls, arranges safe transport either between care facilities or from a patient’s house to a facility, and pays drivers.

Linda is a management consultant turned nonprofit leader. She’s dedicated to solving problems through highly structured, fact-based, and analytical approaches. Linda has led transformation programs across industries and brings a balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence to all her work. Having developed deep corporate consulting experience and worked with Boards and Executive teams of ~30 for-benefit companies, Linda now leads the expansion of the m-mama emergency transportation system across Sub-Saharan Africa.
