Big Idea:

India has the most road crash deaths and injuries in the world. Overwhelmingly, the victims of the carnage are the poor. SaveLIFE works with industry and government to change driver behavior that causes crashes, create more effective emergency response systems, and ensure the application of basic engineering solutions that prevent crashes and make them less deadly when they happen. They’ve already made the most dangerous roads in India much safer.

Piyush has put his extensive experience in the corporate, government, and social enterprise worlds to good use. Prior to establishing SLF, Piyush served as the Managing Director (India) of the Calibrated Group,a private equity firm. He has been recognized an Ashoka Fellow, an Echoing Green Fellow, a DRK Grantee, a Rolex Laureate, and one of GQ Magazine’s 50 most influential people in India.
