How It Works
Saha trains and equips local operators to source, treat, and sell water in sufficient quantities at a price affordable for all. The purification is mostly simple chlorine treatment, and whether the water comes from surface water or government infrastructure, Saha’s approach enables operators to cover operations and maintenance while still earning a profit.

Saha is one of a very few organizations with a scalable idea for clean, affordable, and abundant water in remote communities. It is an effective way to help governments achieve commitments to remote communities and can be integrated into government water operations and. Saha’s model is an important variation of the water utility theme and if they are successful, it could extend the reach of clean water coverage to remote communities across Africa.
