How It Works
Peepul’s “high-engagement teaching” model puts students first, creating classrooms where learning thrives. They train teachers in simple, intuitive practices that drive an ongoing interplay of student and teacher, and they work with principals and administrators to build the approach and practices—along with the training, mentoring, and feedback systems to maintain it—into the broader school system.

Why We're In
Peepul reached over 2.5M students with their direct solution in 2024. In early studies, 43% more kids in Peepul-run schools reach grade-level compared to similar government schools without Peepul. This itself is impressive, but because it requires only a shift of existing resources, the marginal cost per student is zero, which is…remarkable. They had big wins in Madhya Pradesh, where the government saw the promise of their model and built it into a multi-billion-dollar education reform plan.
